Charity should begin at home.

There are starving children all over the world.

Guatemala, Africa, Vietnam, India and many, many more.
Americans are feeding millions of them, and
most of us believe this to be a good thing.
Why are we not feeding the more than 3 million
starving children in the United States first?
No child in America should ever go to bed hungry.
It is estimated that 33 million Americans continue to live in houeholds without an adequate supply of food. According to statistics from the Bread for the World Institute, 3.5 percent of U.S. households experience hunger (9.6 million people, including 3 million children.) Children are a disproportionate share of the poor in the U.S. Although they are 26 percent of the total population, they constitute 39 percent of the poor.
They should not have to wait until next year, next month, next week or tomorrow to be fed. Please email, write or call your congressperson,
tell them you want them to do something about it
We have omitted pictures of starving children as it hurts our hearts to see them.
We would like to place their pictures here after they have been fed.
You can make this dream a reality, please feed our starving children first.
